I d like to introduce myself, I’m Susanna von Hoover and I will be the one taking care of your beloved dog. I’m not your average dog walker, I develop relationships with your Pet and believe that respect always creates trust. While walking I build a kinship with our routine by being present, paying attention to detail and loving your dog as though it’s mine. I sold my start-up and was founder of “Omero Home” a vintage and antique online marketplace ~ tech company. Then moved to Carmel-by-the-sea and immediately knew this was the town where I wanted to build a wonderful dog walking business. My goal is that every dog I walk has a great experience and has fun. A big reason I started Carmel Dog Walkers was that for about 7 years I traveled a lot in my my start-up and was always looking for a reliable dog walker/pet sitter who had heart in what they were doing as well as discipline. It was very hard to find. It’s been great fun meeting many locals and working with all the Hotels in Carmel, I get to meet some interesting Guest/Tourist. Each customer (dog) is a joy to be with, giving each one my full attention. I have lots of experience in dog training and have taken the Cesar Milan Behavior & Development Course.  Its pretty simple, dogs need a good amount of exercise, lots of love and attention.

Now having moved to Newport Rhode Island and started Newport Dog Walkers it’s been an easy transition from Carmel to Newport. I’m working with great clients and am loving it, bringing all my experience from my prior Dog biz in Carmel.
