Doggie Day Camp

We started the Doggie Day Camp because we had a lot of phone calls coming in from Tourist that were staying at the Local Newport Hotels or Renting a home for the Summer. They wanted to go on excursions like Sailing, Bowen’s Wharf, Newport Vineyards, a day in Rhode Island, etc… and some were here for weddings but they could not bring their dog as well could not leave them in the Hotel room. Tourist’s found us online offering a day camp for their beloved Pet. It’s perfect for the family to be able to leave their beloved dog in a safe environment right in Newport downtown, minutes away from all the Hotels and the peace of mind knowing their dog will have fun and be exercised. All guests get to come to our Home to see where their dog will spend the day at Newport Dog Walkers.

Our rates are simple ~ it is $35.00 for the first hour and then $20 per hour thereafter. Your dog will receive a 45-minute walk either down at the beach or a hike or around town. Every 4 hours your dog will receive another 45-minute walk and be fully exercised, all included in the price. We recommend if your dog will be staying with us more than 6 hours you bring their food so we can feed them. Another other is that I can make an organic meal for them which includes chicken and vegetables – all homemade, it is up to the pet owner.

Our home is in Newport, close to all the hotels, minutes away. We have a very comfortable home with a large outdoor grass area that we can play fetch or relax in the sun. We put out pillows for dogs to lay in the sun or they can come in the house and lay on the sofa where we put lots of blankets so their comfy. All the dogs that visit Newport Dog Walkers love it and feel very comfortable.

We do have a **Requirement** All dogs must get along with other dogs and be socialized, be completely potty trained and be on a Flea and Tick program or we will not be able to accommodate them. We give our full attention to your dog ~ we have limited space available. Out of town guest we’ll provide food, blankets and bed to make your Pet comfortable. Local Pet owners can provide food, bed and blankets (optional). We will text you photos of your Pet while they are with us so you can see they are having fun and they’re happy. *NOTE* upon entering the camp or overnight ~ If you did not apply Flea Protection within the last 30 days then there will be an additional fee of $15 and we will apply Frontline to your dog. We make sure all dogs are safe from the infestation of fleas which can get out of control quickly.
